The Easter bunny is on their way to Elephant Park! Join us on Saturday 16th April for a day packed full of fun for all the family.
Complete our Easter trail with Four Hundred Rabbits of Ash Avenue, and win yourself a free kids pizza (with every adult pizza purchased) and a chocolatey surprise. Take part in our egg and spoon race, meet the Easter bunny and learn about Easter celebrations all over the world.
11am – 3pm: Free face painting in the park
12pm – 2pm: Easter bunny hops around Elephant Park! (Starting at Walworth Square & finishing at Elephant Springs)
12pm – 2:30pm: Join us for a live performance in the park from Busk in London folk-pop singer/songwriter Lucy May Walker
12pm – 2:30pm: Workshops with Art in the Park (The Park)
- Make your own beautifully decorated Easter bonnet with a range of colourful craft materials.
- Take part in creating a large collaborative collage inspired by the Alfrombras of Guatemala to celebrate Spring. Cut out flowers, leaves, fruit, insects and more using brightly coloured paper and materials and be part of something great!
- Using locally-sourced, sustainable NZ flax leaves, learn to weave flowers, balls or fish to take home.
- Have a go at decorating Easter eggs in a workshop inspired by traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs, Pysanka.
3pm – Egg and spoon race (Ash Avenue)
