Welcome to MMy, a Mercato Metropolitano Food Market

 Mercato Metropolitano is already a well-established provider of Elephant & Castle street food. They combine food and ingredients from different countries around the world to bring a mix of cultures and traditions to urban neighbourhoods. They do this by sourcing fresh natural ingredients locally from which they create a selection of dishes from around the world.

From its roots in Milan during the World Expo in 2015, the Mercato Metropolitano food market is now well established with a special place in the local community’s urban history. The current concept has evolved from those beginnings since the street food market at Elephant & Castle first opened in 2016.

It’s with great delight that we welcome the latest Mercato Metropolitano food market, MMy, to Elephant Park. Serving freshly prepared meals from its artisanal kitchens, its on-site deli and grocery store will offer an impressive selection of organic world products from local and European cheeses and a bakery to a selection of biodynamic wines from small vineyards. Enjoy ethically sourced coffees and a selection of sweet and savoury pastries in the café or pick up some cheese and wine from the deli.

And there’s lots more to come from the team at Mercato Metropolitano Elephant Park - MMy is just the first phase of Mercato Metropolitano’s food offering at Elephant Park. The unique MM Factory is due to open in late summer 2021, giving you yet another change to sample the delicious food at Mercato Metropolitano.
