Ministry of Sound Elephant and Castle Fitness offers a range of classes for those looking to get fit in a friendly, ego-free environment.

The biggest sound system, plus a two-person coaching team in every class, promises a workout that won’t feel like a chore. The programme has been designed to be a full-body training method – so whether you’re looking to burn fat, sculpt or strengthen, there’s a class, and a soundtrack, for you.

Alongside the classic high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and endurance classes, there are sessions devoted to specific skills, such as lifting and running. These promise to support anyone – from absolute beginners to experienced athletes – to achieve their goals.

The Sunday session, Recharge, aims to help you feel human again after a hectic weekend, with active recovery, mobility and developmental stretching, all accompanied by a suitably curated playlist.

Prices range from £18 for one class to £280 for 20. Alternatively, monthly rolling contracts are available, with unlimited classes, for £150. You could always take advantage of the introductory offer of four classes for £39, to see if this is your jam. Memberships and class bookings can be managed through an app, which is available to download.

Whether you’re looking to Shake It Off or Push It, head over to where you can get your Body Movin’. Ministry of Sound Fitness can be found at Arches 80-81 on Newington Court. Full details are available on the website.

This isn’t the first Ministry of Sound Elephant and Castle non-club venture. Creative hub The Ministry opened last year on Borough Road, and combines a co-working space and private members’ bar.

We can’t help but wonder what exciting development might be next.
