Elephant Park welcomes its newest eatery, Four Hundred Rabbits

Is there anything better in Summer than indulging yourself with good food and drink? Just in time for our favourite season, Four Hundred Rabbits has opened on Ash Avenue at Elephant Park. So what can you expect from the latest branch of one of London’s top pizza parlours, Four Hundred Rabbits Elephant and Castle?

Well there’s the obvious to start with. Sourdough pizza with an abundance of toppings like chorizo, asparagus, chillies, anchovies, feta and peppers amongst other things. With vegan options that are as tantalising as everything else on the menu, this perfectly curated selection has something for everyone. On the side you can expect savoury treats like pickles and padron peppers whilst the “crust dippers” sauces give an extra zing to your order. Finish off with homemade gelato (flavours include rhubarberry sorbet and vegan coconut) and you have a dreamy Summer afternoon.

As if this wasn’t enough, then there’s the drinks menu. Craft beer, cocktails, coffee and herbal teas are served up, crisp and cool as the perfect accompaniment to your food.

Four Hundred Rabbits celebrates fermentation; bringing together exceptional pizza and craft beer to serve up a really, really good time. The name Four Hundred Rabbits is based on Aztec folklore. The four hundred Aztec rabbit gods were mischievous and liked to party – they lived the good life and that’s exactly what their namesake offers. After opening restaurants in Crystal Palace, Nunhead, West Norwood and Herne Hill – they decided to open their newest place on Ash Avenue, in Elephant & Castle.

Ash Avenue is Elephant Park’s newest social destination, where restaurants offer al fresco dining, looking out to manicured, green open space.
